ORG responds to DSIT data broker and data intermediaries consultations

The Open Rights Group has published its responses to two separate but linked consultations launched by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) concerning data brokers and data intermediaries. 

The data broker response addresses socio-economic impacts, national security risks, security and regulatory frameworks, along with consumer awareness and transparency.  

Meanwhile, the response to the data intermediaries consultations covers data subject rights, data portability challenges, risks and risk mitigation strategies that can be employed to address the risks posed by data intermediaries.
